For us, ensuring design, manufacturing and installation provided by a single company, delivers an integrated approach for our clients and a high quality across all aspects of our work.
With our in-house design and engineering team involved in the pre-construction phase, we provide a level of collaboration for clients to maximise the engineering and manufacturing process to consider efficient and seamless project outcomes.
Our design and engineering capability has resulted in Fusion winning numerous offsite awards for the best use of steel technology.
In-house Design Team
Design is at the heart of the Fusion solution. As such, Fusion continues to invest in its own in-house design resources comprising Engineers, Pre-construction Architectural Technicians and CAD Framers. The team are based at our main manufacturing facility in Northampton, using intelligent, state of the art software solutions.
As far as Fusion is concerned, it is never too early to be involved in the design process and we will be happy to provide advice on the potential suitability of your project for a solution based on LGS. This conceptual approach to design has proven a great success within the various sectors we operate in, including: Education, Hotel/Hostel, Student Accommodation, Extra Care/Retirement Living, Healthcare and Residential environments.
Early Design Support
A successful LGS project requires early design input and Fusion is committed to making the necessary resources available as early as possible. This early inclusion ensures our clients optimise the full benefits of a Fusion superstructure whilst creating the design integration to maximise supply chain cost benefits.
Engineering expertise on site
With over 20 years experience the Fusion team have developed products and knowledge on how to best use steel to maximise builds.
More than LGS Framing
In addition to expertise in LGS Framing, Fusion is able to offer advice and support on related topics such as fire, thermal and acoustics, based on experience gained on many thousands of dwellings, plus extensive R&D.
Hot Rolled Steel
Fusion has an unrivalled knowledge in integrating Hot Rolled Steel into our Light Gauge solutions to cater for items such as non-stacking load-paths, stairs, balcony, masonry and glazing support and where required plant areas and external walkways. Our in-house structural engineers provide us with the expertise needed to ensure our clients can rely on a single source of supply and responsibility for any HRS being integrated into the Fusion superstructure.
By effective planning and communication through the design and engineering process, the project will see a reduction in waste and any hold ups in production. Our design and engineering team will work with clients to ensure everything is clarified and agreed before we move onto the manufacture stage.
